Getting to Know Us

Welcome – We’re Glad You’re Here!

We know you have many choices when it comes to HR support, and we genuinely appreciate you considering Equilibrium Strategic Partners.

We’re Erica and Seana and we founded the company after working together as HR leaders  during a complex post-acquisition integration at a government contractor. Throughout that experience, we worked alongside several consulting firms and quickly saw a consistent gap: while the advice was sound, it often lacked collaboration, and the deliverables didn’t always translate into sustainable, actionable outcomes our teams could carry forward.

Motivated to do things differently, we launched Equilibrium Strategic Partners to offer small and mid-sized businesses practical, high-impact HR solutions. Our mission is to be the trusted partner that gets the job done, not through presentations and buzzwords, but by delivering meaningful, real-world results. Our approach combines strategic insight, innovative thinking, and deep HR expertise to deliver scalable support that brings balance to both business operations and the people who make them thrive.

Beyond our professional capabilities, we’d love for you to get to know us as individuals, because at the end of the day, you’re partnering with people, not just a company.

Hometown and favorite childhood memory

I was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. I grew up the oldest of three girls and fondly remember our outdoor adventures; riding bikes, neighborhood sports, and exploring the local creek.

Life at home

Life at home is a joyful mix of wonder and chaos. My husband and I have a toddler who keeps us on our toes. Family activities include ballet, farm animals, and lots of Bluey (iykyk).

Hobbies

Music has been a steady thread throughout my life—I play several instruments and enjoy singing in my free time. More recently, I’ve taken up running and started entering races. I saw a funny post claiming marathon running at this stage of life is the new mid-life crisis… and honestly, they might be onto something!

Myers-Briggs Type

INFJ – insightful, creative, and interested in possibilities for people

Meaning of Equilibrium

I deeply value a rule of life that fosters inner harmony, and I strive to be intentional about maintaining healthy rhythms of work, study, love, and play. This mindset is especially important in our work as HR professionals. We’re constantly navigating the balance between innovation and simplicity, staying current with evolving human capital solutions while ensuring alignment with business strategy. At the same time, we face the real challenge of meeting financial goals without losing sight of the people who help us achieve them.

Hometown and favorite childhood memory

Originally from the Midwest, I have fond memories of growing up near the water and find joy in spending time outdoors—especially at the beach or by the lake.

Life at home

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me on the sidelines of a travel soccer or basketball game, or enthusiastically cheering on my son at football.

Hobbies

As a certified Functional Nutrition Expert, I love spending quality time in the kitchen, cooking with my family. I make daily movement a priority and am currently approaching an exciting milestone—my 500th Pilates class.

Myers-Briggs Type

Meaning of Equilibrium

To me, Equilibrium means fostering flow, creating balance, and offering practical solutions—without judgment. It’s about embracing compassion and recognizing that we’re all doing our best to bring purpose, kindness, and a sense of fun to our shared experiences.
